From the vine to the glacier – not only a catching advertising slogan for the Vinschgau Valley, but reality.
The hiking paradise directly starts at the valley floor where the paths
along the little streams slowly babble along the sun mountain and
supply the vineyards and orchards with the necessary water.
Do you prefer heights? Everybody will feel at ease between alpine
pastures and the edge of the forest and a nice stop will round off a
perfect hiking day.
Conquerers of the peaks are spoilt for choice: demanding pass
crosses from the Vinschgau Valley to the Schnalstal Valley or from the
Martelltal Valley to the Suldental Valley, collect peak crosses or to
the Ortles with a mountain guide. You can decide your limits.
Don’t forget the sun cream and your digicam.
